Garrard Co. Rural HeritageTobacco Festival Pageant - Lancaster, KY

 The Garrard Co. Rural Heritage Tobacco Festival Pageant is a open pageant to all Kentucky Counties.

The 2012, Garrard Co. Rural Heritage Tobacco Festival Pageant will be held, August 18 @ the Garrard Co. Middle School, on W. Maple St.. Staring with the Baby Boys, Baby Girls, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Sweetheart Jr. and Sweetheart Division Pageant at 1:00 PM and the Duchess, Princess and Queen Scholarship Pageant at 6:00 PM.

Sign ups will be on August 13, 6:00 PM @ the OLD Garrard Co. High School / New Middle School on Maple ave. Please come prepared to have your photo taken for the local newspaper. All Division, please bring a photo to be used for Miss or Mr. photogentic.  You may also mail your application to the address that is provided on the web site. Practice will begin on August 13 at the Garrard Co. High School, for Duchess, Princess and Queen Scholarship Pageant.

There will be one winner, two runner-ups, one Miss/Mr. Spirit & one Photogenic in each division.  The division Kings/Queens will receive a Tiara/King Crown, Scepter, and Sash. Scholarship Queen will also receive a $500.00 scholarship.  Miss/Mr. Spirit of each division will receive a King Crown/Tiara and Sash.  Photogenic of each division will receive a Framed Photo and Sash.

Spirit award is based on raffle ticket sales. You can print a raffle sheet from the application site. There is an over all divisions Spirit award that will be given to the top 3 raffle ticket sellers from all divisions. 1st will receive paid entry into the 2012 Kentucky State Festival Pageant, 2nd will receive $100.00 for entry and 3rd place will receive $50.00 entry money.

6 months-12 months

13 months-24 months

2 - 4 years of age boys

Girls

6 months-12 months

13 months-24 months

Tiny Miss- Ages 2-3 years old

Little Miss - Ages 4-5 years old

Sweetheart Jr.- Ages 6-7 years old

Sweetheart - Ages 8-9 years old

Director for the following ages is Tara Gilliam.

Duchess - Ages 10 - 12 years old

Princess - Ages 13 - 15 years old

Queen- 16 -18 years old (New)

Queen Scholarship - Ages 17 - 20 years old

Miss or Mrs - Ages 20 and up

Dead line for all registration is Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

All Kings/Queens, Mr./Miss Spirit, 1st runner-up (Prince/Princess), 2nd runner-up (Duke/Duchess) winners, from all divisions will advance on to the Kentucky Festival State Pageant in November at the Hyatt Regency located in Lexington, Kentucky.
